After fifty years of creation, Marc Antoine Squarciafichi, known as Marcestel, a French artist eminently recognized for his work on Japanese mythology, passed away at the age of 80 in Osaka on April 2023.
He leaves behind a rich and abundant collection illustrating both his devotion to nature and to the love between beings. His mastery of colors, materials, and multiple pictorial and sculptural techniques makes his works so unique.
